Bought this locomotive this weekend NIB. However, it was missing the L shaped window from an Athearn SD45t-2 Cotton belt loco. It appears to be one of the older models. Opened the box to inspect the loco, noticed missing window. I emailed Athearn regarding replacements, but haven't heard back yet.

Can I get one from them or simply make my own? Has anyone made one of these before and how to do so? How can I glue it back inside the cab without the fogging of glues like crazy glue or similar ones?

Thanks.

Thanks.

OHP film & Micro Scale Kristal Clear

Easy to make your own from Overhead Projector Slides or similar acetate film. To glue them in place use Kristal Clear. It won't haze the film and dries clear. Peter

silicone

you could also use a small amount of latex or silicone caulk to glue it.

Athrean contacted me

they're going to ship me the missing pieces. Good stuff. Just what I wanted to hear. Kristal Clear, is this the product you're recommending  pierre52?
