I took this picture in 2003 from the Union Square Hotel directly across form the Dallas, UPT. This building did not exist in 1963. If you like the picture you are welcome to save it and share it.  This is a view that was not available at the time JFK was shot.

The building for those that do not know is the Texas School Book Depository.  Lee Harvey Oswell shot the President of the United States, John Fitzgerald Kennedy form the sixth floor far right hand window.  Other than that their are at least 1000 theories as to the rest of the story.

In 1963, the DART tracks didn't exist either, thou more tracks serving the passenger terminal did (and Dallas Union Terminal SW8 # 9 was busy switching at the time). And the Katy still had a yard where the American Airlines Center sits.

The grassy knoll

I was on Amtrak a couple years ago. Not paying much attention just looking out the window, Then I saw the Grassy Knoll and new instantly I was passing the spot where JFK was shot. Anyone alive during that time would probably know the spot once they see it. I was five when he was shot.
