Much as I love the Siskiyou stuff, I have all the DVDs so for me it's a bit redundant.  When are the preview videos going full length?

Previews

Some of the clips are previews of upcoming segments that will be included in the show at some point.  Barry's Backyard and the documentary about the Oak Ridge Horn Honk "Blow Your Own Horn" are two good examples.

Other previews, like the backdrop painting clinic will eventually be seen as bonus material.  Actually, that one will be added in December and will run over 45 minutes.

Act II of the November episode of the TrainMasters show will be available on the site this weekend, and there will be a 25-minute-long Backshop Clinic on soldering in a few days as bonus material (watch for the preview of that this weekend as well).

This month's TrainMasters show is destined to be over an hour long, and we will have uploaded more than 50 minutes of bonus material by the end of the month.  All-in-all, almost two hours of new video in our first month.

By the way...

The previews will always be a part of the TrainMasters TV website.  We want everyone to see the segments that we're working on... and we want those who haven't subscribed to see what they're missing.

Preview Tag

The preview tag is a bit misleading. If the full video is also present, it probably should not also say preview. It's confusing.

Perhaps there should be a separate section for non subscribers to see "samples" (see what you are missing!) after the full version has been loaded to the library.

That way, the full versions would not be overlooked by the subscribers under the assumption that the preview had not changed, even though Joe has said a few times that the banner changes colour. (it's too hard to keep track of.)

Your thoughts?

This is why I suggest loading content from multiple series at once... http://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/node/15886
