Does anyone know if GATX tank cars were seen on Canadian branchines in the late fifties or in the early seventies?

Dear Deem,

A quick check of RRpicturearchive shows a lot of CGTX (GATX Canada?) tanks roaming around Canada. Do you have a specific location or branchline in mind?

I recall seeing cars similar to that running around in the 1950's so it would probably represent an older car for 1974 era operations? ........DaveB

I just learned it is modeled

I just learned it is modeled after a prototype seen in 1974, Dave. I'm still looking for more rolling stock for my 74 collection, but it takes a bit of research and work - most cars available need to have ACI labels or plates added or modern stencils covered.
