Hello,

it's been a while since my last post.

Ullapool is now installed in my railway room, and fully functional. During spring and summer I held two operating session. And another will follow in about three weeks. The layout is constructed along the walls of the room and at the moment the fiddle yard reaches in the room. For the future I plan to include a junction station so I've got a possibility for my trains to pass and meet on the line.

Here a few pictures from the layout.

A few pictures of the sceniced areas.

Some pictures of one of the operating sessions.

And here is a trackplan of Ullapool

You may have to reformat your blog.  The only way to view your current posting is to copy and paste each photo to a browser, slow and cumbersome.

The pic's I viewed look great, but it takes for ever!

Don't know if MRH's F.A.Q. will resolve the problem.

Keep up the postings.

Maybe Joe  Fugate, can give you some help/advise on how to resolve the problem.

...

You should embed a few pix in the post to give us an idea of what we'd be seeing if we choose to chase the links ...

Looks nice!

Modules ... do you display portions of this layout with a group?  Or is it because of impending relocations?  Or just because you wanted to build in small more manageable sections?  Thanks for sharing.

(I think the track plan is too large to display properly on this forum ... may want to leave it as a link?)

Hello, the modules are part

Hello,

the modules are part of FREMO Great-britN modular norm. They are built according to FREMO recomendations. (Not the FREmodule) We are a small group of british railway enthusiasts. In the past some of the modules where exhibited at some exhibitions. Some in Germany and one in Scotland. At the moment there are no exhibitions planned but maybe next year.

You could find the plan there:

You have to scroll down a bit.

The cobbles are made with a stamp. I used Modellier Moltofill. I don't know if there is something similar in the US or UK. It won't get to hard, so you could stamp the cobbles over a long period of time. Some parts of the Moltofill was applied at late spring.
