WPM-Sept 19-I'll be there

Josh,

Looks like a lot of interesting projects. I'll be sure and stop by. Any 40's or 50's vehicles in the mix?

The trip to and from WPM will be just as fun.  I'll take Amtrak from Ventura County to LA Union Passenger Terminal (no Ventura Co. Metrolink service on Saturdays), then switch to the Metrolink from LAUPT to San Bernardino.  Then a "long" walk all the way across the platform to the WPM meet  No models, just a notebook.

Awesome, hope to chat with you both! No early era vehicles, though, the Copper Range equipment fits in that category.

WPM went well... Out of ~35

WPM went well... Out of ~35 raffle tickets I had, the ONLY one that won was a ticket Don passed on to me... Won an N scale signal that I'll be placing on eBay tonight. In any case, sat in on a GREAT seminar on tank cars by Tim Frederick. Watched several 1:1 trains, and thought I was going to go blind trying to focus in on details on some models. I must say, the station's interior lighting SUCKED for displaying trains... Got PLENTY of compliments on the Copper Range stuff, the Utah Belt stuff, and the DME/ICE units. Also got a quick conversation in about the UP E9's (which I truly hope to have complete next year).

Oh, whats worse, about the raffle, the security guard spent $10 (12 tickets) and won a BMLA HO billboard, and a Genesis passenger car.

I won a Proto Milwaukee E7A, several sets of container decals, and a pack of Kadee #148 couplers. I don't know what I'm going to do with it, but it was still cool to win finally!

So you were the one who won that!  I was hoping for something more, in my scale...

I actually wanted the Genesis SD70's the most, or the Details West GEVO detail kit...

Those are GREAT Photos

I hope Someone thanks David on our behalf.  I'd love to go to ne of these events, but they are apprently few and far between in the D.C. area.  Oh well . . . And does anyone know if the n scale interurbans featured early in the photo set are the old Western Railcraft P.E. kits?  If so, those are worthy of a photo shoot in and of themselves.
