I'm making room on my shelf, and getting rid of a loco I don't use. I like this model very much, but I'm not doing the era I was first planning, and don't need it.

I have a Bachmann Spectrum 4-4-0 American, HO Scale (DCC, steel cab and undecorated) up on auction at UP BIds.

I'm going to convert the cost of this into detail parts needed for another loco modification (based on Ian Rice & Marty Mcguirks' Central Vermont 2-8-0 conversion in the Kalmbach Steam Locomotive Projects book).

4-4-0

Too bad I don't have a use for that engine because that is a very good looking engine. Is it a good runner?

I would keep her.

It is

It is a good runner, but definately needs tender pickups (which look like an easy modification, I just never got to it).

I like the model, but truth be told. I just don't need it...
