...this forum (Website general discussion) and the Modeling general discussion forum?

What I really want to know is where to put comment/suggestions about the website itself.

Thanks,

Al

ok now I'm really confused

I thought I was posting the post above ("What's the difference between...") onto a forum named Website general discussion.

Why is it appearing on the general posts page?

Thanks,

Al

The website discussion is for

The website discussion is for questions and comments about the WEBSITE.

The modeling discussion is for questions and comments about MODELING.

If you want to know about a link or how to post something or why it doesn't work right on some device, that's website stuff.

If you want to know about how to lay track or who sells PS1 boxcars, that's modeling stuff.

Still confused

Thanks dave1905. But if you open the website discussion forum (Home> Discussion Forums> Website general discucssion, you will see that most posts there have nothing to do with the website.

Can someone from the MRH staff please explain?

Thanks,

Al

Confusion...

I believe Dave1905 is correct.

You are obviously not the only one who is confused.

Or perhaps not ...

Al seems to be correct.  The problem is that others who are creating threads are either confused as to which topic is should be placed under or simply go with 'Website General Discussion' (keying in on the GD aspect).  Bottom line, while all the various topics seems like a good idea, and even looks good on paper; it falls flat in actual implementation by the general population who are not trained in the 'rules' ...
