To All: Some of my newest projects. Photo #1--Conasupo stands for Compania Nacional de Subsistencias Populares (Mexico). It was in business from 1966 to 1999. It was an agency of the Mexican Government that set policy for food production, consumption and rural incomes. This state trading agency was eliminated when NAFTA was established. Ferro Tienda was a grocery store in a boxcar that was equipped with counters, shelving, and storage for merchandise, as well as, living quarters for the attendant. The service was inaugurated on April 7, 1972. Ricky Rupp of Modern Rails Co. custom made the decals for me. Photo #2--Airco is a supplier of liquid oxygen for Blast furnaces. Decal also made for me by Ricky Rupp of Modern Rails Co. Photo #3--The is the block font used on later Savannah & Atlanta Boxcars. Ricky Rupp of Modern Rails Co.custom made these decals for me. All three cars will be run on my layout. Yours, Elvin Howland/E. St. Louis Rail Group Layout
