Now, I've known what has been going on since about April 1st (I thought it was a joke at first) and a trip to St Thomas ON last weekend confirmed that the city of St Thomas is doing several things

1 rebuilding the old L&PS station that was torn down in the 60's

2 reconnecting the tracks from the Port Stanley Terminal Rail (PSTR) to the new station (the original tracks were torn up around 8 years ago)

3 connecting the Elgin County Railway Museum (ECRM) to the Canada Southern (CASO) station and that to the new PSTR line

4 doing a bunch of landscaping around these areas to make it look nice

now here is where what I want to take place...

5 connect the PSTR to the CN at Barwick St. (thereby making the L&PS whole again)

6 string some catanery and run some interurban's from London to Port Stanley again

the last two will probably not happen but one can dream right?

I hope I have made the point quite clear that I'm ecstatic!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. funny how some model reality, but right now reality is modeling me!!
