A question about the MRH website itself...

Sometimes if I click on the MRH website from my Start/Favorites, or if I do my usual method and click on my desktop shortcut to MRH 'Recent Posts', poke around a bit, then go Windows 7 back-button 'Back' I find I am no longer logged in.  Somedays I can go all over the place, all day long, and no problem.  Some days only once or twice on the Back button and I'm logged out.  I am usually logged in all the time, even if I get here from an outside search engine.

Annoying, but when I want to reply to something I have to log back in, it goes to my profile page, then I have to get back to the thread I wanted to respond to.

I have experienced something

I have experienced something similar on my work computer using IE8.  I will open a string of posts using “Open in New Tab”, and have opened as many as 20-30 at a time.  Sometimes, partway through the post, I see that I am no longer logged in, and must close all the following open posts, be cause they will also show not logged in.

There doesn’t seem to be a magic number of posts.  It could happen at the second post, or the 22nd.  It may be a function of latency in the company’s internet (read: slow), or just another fine “feature” of IE.  It doesn’t happen at home using Firefox.

Interestingly, it just happened now as I was trying to reply.  I appeared to be logged in, since I could post a reply, but when I hit submit, I was no longer logged in, and my response disappeared (which is why I USUALLY compose in Word, but didn’t this time.

Do you use OpenID or a userid/password?

Just happened to me when I tried to click on Recent Posts to refresh.  Logged on using Yahoo as OpenID, Firefox 21 browser.
