Rustman

Well today I wrapped up "Ronny's Pawn". I had several issues with the door beginning with some frustrating problems with paints and paint removal products. Later I managed to break some glass. So for the time being Ron has duct taped the broken transom window and when his insurance claim cheque comes he'll get a new door from Tichy, maybe go with a modern door and have some brick work done. But at least the utilities are going in well. Note the manhole cover from VectorCut in the corner of the B&W photograph.

Next up it's the roof to work on.

That's right!

Actually I grew up in Calvert and Anne Arundel counties. My in-laws are from South Baltimore and my wife grew up in Brooklyn Park.

But the Free-mo module is called "Hammerjacks"after the rock concerte venue that's now the Ravens Stadium parking lot. After the commercial blocks my next project are the row homes of the area. So thanks for recognizing the location just off of those clues.

Oh don't forget to check my previous posts on the blog to see the Colt 45 and Maryland Lotto signs.

South Baltimore

Cool scene.  You captured the flavor of old South Baltimore.  You must have seen Murphy's Tavernacle on Patapsco Av.

Murph's Cut Rate

I haven't seen Murphy's. Murph's Cut Rate Liquors is actually on Rt. 2 just north of the beltway, I pass it on the way to my in-laws. I used Google street view to look at the signs then did my best to copy them using MIcrosoft Word.
