Thanks to MRH I am #1 on Google

Mon, 2009-07-20 11:51 — ChrisNH
Thanks to MRH, searching for ChrisNH on google brings my blog up as the #1 hit.
I am several listing above the doof in southern NH who uses my name on twitter. I would NEVER wear a black turtle neck unless I was robbing a bank. Must be a mac user trying to look like Steve Jobs.

Of course, it's really going to maintain that #1 ranking now we're all going to try it out, just to do it.
Way, Cool.

Insert comment about the relative size of fishes and ponds...
But it's nice to be #1 at something!
But in all seriousness it's my opinion you have one of the best blogs on here (it's you or Scarpia for my money) and gave me some great advice on getting by backdrop up and painted so I'm glad for you. If I ran into you in Hartford (how we were going to do this since I don't know what you look like, or you know what I look like for that matter) I was going to buy you some of that "wonderful" food in the convention hall.
Way to go!

As Chris and I live in the same state, maybe it's our state motto - "Model Free or Die!"

60th is OK
Scarpia,
60th is OK on Google. ChrisNH is tough to compete with, because he's not also a Puccini character. Google's algorithm is rather elegant, and is hard to fool, so being found on Google is good.

Nothin special
Nothing special. Unfortunately some twit on twitter got my name and is ranked just under me.

I must not have been paying attention
Didn't realize you were doing MEC and others. That's really cool. If I weren't such an incorrigible SP fan, some part of MEC's Mountain Division would be my next choice. Steam era, of course.
I'll be following your blog from now on, even if you are modeling in the Great Satan (diesel) era.

When the going gets tough, the tough play trains
Its a matter of scale..
I am currently modeling in N scale.. I think that makes reliable diesel locmotives and colorful 70s rolling stock a real plus. My long-term interest is turn of the century steam. My space, time, and budget are not there yet.
I have not updated my blog in quite some time.. but the basement is warming up and my toddlers are sleeping through the night again so it will be time to get moving again!
