Recently I painted two RS-3's in the gray scheme of the TRRA. The terminal road owned four of these units. I chose to model #1600 and #1603. The TRRA did not modify locomotives as they came from the manufacturer, so all I had to do was paint, letter and weather the units. Here we see the units working Union Starch & Refining Co. The TRRA and IT worked this complex. The US&R tanks cars I painted and lettered. I took about 120 individual combined letters and numbers to do each car! Yours, Elvin Howland/E.
