This will be my first trip on "Private Varnish". The Toledo to Chicago leg of the journey will be May 15th 2013.

If anyone wants to join me search for "Railcar Montana" on google. I never knew you could take trips like this. Well, I knew you could if you had several thousand dollars but positioning moves can be taken for a lot less. I have several guys from the Lansing Model Railroad Club going along and I'm sure we will get lots of video.Note: This is a one way trip so once you get to Chicago you need to find a way back. Were taking Amtraks Capital Limited back to Toledo.

Could you see if they could swing through Orlando Florida and pick me up too. Have a great trip. You'll be going past my old home in Swanton Ohio.

Bucket List

Hey Guys,

Yes this is certainly something for the Bucket List! The Montana is going from New York to California so it may be coming to an Amtrak station near you.
