These two pictures show NYC 0-6-0 switching the west end of Crawford Yard.  This yard is actually stub ended and curves out of sight under some buildings.  It has a capacity of about 125 cars and is used to store and make up several local freights that serve the local industries in West Maywood, Hendrick and Maywood.  It also holds and classifies cars for the Maywood Terminal Railroad for their many industries and their carfloat operation at Port Hendrick.  The yard office building in the foreground is a temporary structure until I can find time to build the permanent one.  The buildings in the background are Globe printing on the left and the big National Radiator plant on the right.

Enjoy,  Jim

Crawford Yard

Great pictures, Jim.  I have saved your layout pictures as an inspiration for my abuilding Erie Lackawanna

yard based in Hammond.  It will be a very loose representation of what was actually there and a lot of your

trackage arrangemements have me intrigued.   Keep up the good work and keep posting.  Thanks  Dan Groninger

Track Plan

I have my track plans done on CAD and have PDF files for each of my three levels.  I am not sure if I can post them here on the MRH website.  I have lots more photos that I will post from time to time.  I am currently working on my harbor area at Port Hendrick and plan on showing pictures as I progress.

Thanks, Jim
