Catching up on blog entries...

This is the layout room. It ended up being slightly smaller than was originally planed because of truss design issues. Despite some trackplan challenges presented by the design change, it will still be a great space! More on the track plan problems later.

The area where the windows are will be my wife's "library."
The long stretch to the left of the stairs will be my office.

Below are some photos of the space after the drywall was hung. It is now painted and acting as a workshop while we work on trim and other details in the rest of the house.

A room of its own

Looks like an interesting project. Having that room for a layout will be nice. There are a number of Winnipeger's that enjoy the BNML. Look forward to the progress.

Winnipeg?

Tim,

Are you from Winnipeg? Are there many Winnipeger's on this forum?

I'm in Altona. There are not many model railroaders that I have found around here.

Winnipeg

I am a Winnipeger who is living near Flin Flon. There are a few Winnipegers on the forum that I am aware of. There must be a number of model railroad enthusiasts in the area considering how much stock Janzen"s hobbies in winkler carries. Sorry I missed this post earlier.
