To All: The next few posts will feature some of my collection of railroad memorabilia. Photo #1-Many railroad stations had name signs with miles in each direction to major cities on their lines. This is one I painted for Manton, Michigan on the Grand Rapids &Indiana RR (PRR RR). Photo #2-The Michigan Northern was a short lived short line that was a designated operator of former Ann Arbor RR trackage and former PRR trackage in north-western Michigan. Photo #3-This is a cast iron whistle sign that the PRR used. Photo #4-One of my model railroad customers was a part of the NKP Steam Engine Historical Society and he obtained the no-trespassing sign when the N&W merged the NKP. He gave it to me. Photo#5-This is a NYC RR Stop sign used at a gated crossing of the C&O RR at Reese, Michigan. Yours, Elvin Howland/E. St. Louis Rail Group Layout
