NYC passenger train #262 is making its early morning station stop at Maywood as a light drizzle is starting to fall.  An express car has been added and the engine change is nearly complete.  Soon, it will start its sprint eastward. What a lucky catch on this dismal cold spring morning!

Enjoy, Jim

Yes, it is a Kato RS-2

Yes, it is a Kato RS-2 in the early morning scene that I purchased in the light pacemaker passenger grey color.  I added a stack for a steam generator, weathering and added jumper wires from the trucks to the Tsunami decoder that I added instead of using the troublesome Kato brass contact strips.  They were causing big problems so I added the wires and the hesitation stopped.  The unit looks, runs and sounds great on my passenger trains.

Neat Photo

Neat photo, Jim- the lighting is very effective. I made the same changes you did with the jumper wires on all of my engines and it's amazing the difference it makes. Nothing worse than a sound unit that keeps re-starting.
