To All: Today I present three cabooses and a boxcar: Photo #1-Roundhouse provided the caboose for this custom paint and lettering job of my former model railroad, the Cadillac & West Michigan, the "Pine Route". This layout was a club at my building (built after ATSF Standard Passenger Station plans), that was 26' by 50', in Manton, Michigan. Decals by Rail Graphics. Photo #2-I assembled, painted and lettered this DL&W RR resin kit manufactured by Virginia Foundry & Model Works by John Canfield. Photo #3-Another John Canfield kit, this time lettered for my pike. I weathered it as heavily used. Photo #4-This Austin & Northwestern boxcar is a scratchbuild using Austin Modeling Associates Decals. The A&NW was a 3' gauge line that became part of the Houston & Texas Central then part of the T&NO RR. Yours, Elvin Howland/E. St. Louis Rail Group Layout

A change of pace

It's really great to see rolling stock models representing the pre-Depression era. I have a 1926 modeling focus and will be building many more kits in the next year. Actually, I have over a dozen built, but I need to get off my duff to paint and letter the bunch!
