To All: Today's offering of Early Rail Equipment is as follows: Photo #1-Oregan & California RR (known as the "Shasta Route")was a part of the Southern Pacific RR. A Roundhouse car. Photo #2-The Central Pacific was the original line that became the Southern Pacific RR. The CP was known as the "Ogden Route". A Roundhouse car. Photo #3-A Southern Pacific car, their slogan, the "Sunset Route", on account of their line went through the Southwestern States, is a Roundhouse car. Photo #4-This is a Westerfield coal hopper I assembled, painted and lettered for the West Virginia Central & Pittsburgh. It was a Baltimore & Ohio RR subsidiary. Yours, Elvin Howland/E.
