To All: Today I feature three boxcars and a tank car- Photo #1-The Houston East & West Texas started out as a 3 foot gauge railroad. It became part of the Texas & New Orleans RR. Austin Modeling Associates provided the decals. A scratch built car. Photo #2-This Battle Mountain tank car is a Roundhouse offering of many years ago that I weathered. Note the Fox trucks. Photo #3-The Quanah, Acme & Pacific RR was named after Quanah Parker, the last Comanche Indian chief to surrender to the US Army. He attended the opening of the railroad! Roundhouse provided the car and I painted and decaled it. The QA&P became part of the Burlington Northern RR. Photo #4-Morgan's Louisiana & Texas became part of the Texas & New Orleans RR. A scratchbuilt car. Yours, Elvin Howland/E. St. Louis Rail Group Layout
