I had the opportunity to visit with Brian Earl and talk to him about his N Scale Great Western Railroad.  It is a freelance railroad and he gives us a great tour of the train room pointing out highlights and providings unique insight about operating in a small scale.

Great N Scale layout!

I'll be honest, when I saw that this video was over 30 minutes, my first thought was no. I don't have time to watch all that. But I fired it off anyway and started watching it, and before I knew it I was engrossed and enjoying it. Nice video and a great N scale layout, just a fantastic layout, great inspiration for us N scalers. Great work, but next time you may want to keep the video length down under 10 minutes. Better to run two or three videos than one that is too long, and scare folks away from watching it. But, glad I did watch it!

Glad you all enjoyed the video

Brian is quit the fellow.  I enjoy his company at other operating nights.  He is a real friendly person who has great knowledge of the hobby and volunteers to participate on many occasions.  Video length is always an issue.  I find when bringing together in parts the folks watch the first few and maybe forget to come back.  Then they miss something they might have wanted to see.  You will find I have tried it in different lengths on other presentations.  Probably another good topic for discussion.
