Mike,

I ordered the Allagash series earlier this week and I've really been enjoying them.  I'm always interested in seeing the tools and materials others are using.  I just finished watching the video on ballast and ground cover and I wanted to pass along a tool that I use when applying my white glue mixture.  I was at a grocery store in the "tools" section and stumbled upon one of these: ( http://www.acitydiscount.com/restaurant_equipment/product_pics.cfm?InvID=52693) - it's a condiment bottle.  I found that I am able to mix my white glue inside this bottle and then use it to spread my white glue mixture quickly and still maintain the precision you get using the pipette.  I intentionally kept the small opening on the cap so the water/glue mixture doesn't flood out and ruin the ground cover.

Thanks for taking the time and trouble to document your technique.  The series is very professionally done!

Another great glue

Another great glue application bottle is a "wash bottle" - used in chem labs, etc.  Mine has a very fine stream, but because this style of bottle has the pick-up tube at the bottom, settling glue sometimes clogs it.
