Hartford Convention - Days 4 and 5

I ended up with my laptop connected to our big screen TV for the National Train Show and we need to leave it connected to the big screen TV since it took some fiddling to get it all to work seamlessly.

I'm posting this note on a borrowed computer, and it doesn't have all my software I use to prepare the images, etc - so I will be making brief posts (without photos) for now and come back in after the fact once the Train Show is over and I get my computer back to add more details and to add the photos!

On Thursday, we spent all day either setting up the MRH booth or videoing the LD SIG Panel discussions that ran all-day Thursday. We also video'ed the Digitrax User Forum on Thursday night - so we'll be posting that online in MRH Theater in the up-coming weeks.

Friday was the first day of the National Train Show, and we shot a number of vendor videos. We had lots of people who had never heard of us who now *have* heard of us - and we're starting to get some good traction with hobby vendors. Expect to see a surge in sponsorships in the coming weeks - which is just what we need to see this venture succeed and do well!

Friday I got a chance to meet Joe and show him my home made flocker.

LOL, I felt like a padawan Jedi showing his light saber to the master. "Master Joe, I have made my flocker.. am I worthy now to complete my training in scenery and take my rightful place as a model railroader?"

Of course, thats if light sabers are made from PVC and aluminum screen. And, of course, the heart of every light saber flocker, the mystical static generator located in few places in the galaxy..

Man, I would have paid hard cold cash to see that!

Yeah. But you should have been there when he plugged it in and all the house lights went out.
