I was just thinking ( a rare thing for me!) - what about making a video of someone's layout as a gift for that person? Ask that person's permission first and if they want the results "public" (Youtube) or "private" (maybe burn them a DVD). If you own a camera car that's the same scale you could shoot some cab view and mix it with passing shots and still pictures of scenery. I know I've seen a number of RR videos of layouts shot by others. Just thinking.........
