Matt Forcum

I've finally gotten around to creating a new layout progress video to show off what I've been working on lately.

I've started using an iPhone 4s with the iMovie app to record, edit, and publish the video.  It's a bit quirky to use and I haven't had an HD video successfully published to YouTube yet, but It is very convenient and will hopefully encourage me to produce videos more often.

Great!

That was great Matt! Once again, I love your backdrop. I really enjoy your videos Matt. I think you really should make some how-to videos. That would be awesome. Once again, thanks for sharing.

How To Paint a Backdrop Video?

Thanks for the kind words.  I've gotten comments in other places about maybe doing a how-to video for painting backdrops.  That sounds like it could be a lot of fun. A good Saturday project this weekend maybe...

HaHa

That's funny Rick. The 'young blood' thing started when I met Joe Fugate for the first time at the 2012 National Narrow Gauge Convention in Seattle. When Joe wrote an article for MRH about the convention, he included a picture of me running a train at a friend mine's layout. In the caption, he wrote that it was good to see some young blood in the hobby. So, that's why I put that in my 'signature'.

I'm 33

I'm 33.  At times I feel like a young blood as well....

...but then I get tired and I go and take a nap on the couch.

I'm 14

I get tired and want to take a nap on the couch too and I'm 14. I don't think that's a good at my age!
