Well I guess its been awhile since I last posted a blog, with the problems we've experienced after Tropical Storm Debbie, and a few other issues, we are finally, (FINALLY), getting back to normal, hopefully we won't see stuff like that again anytime soon, however, with the world the way it is, I suspect!

I've included a few pics of my most recent building project, this is a gas station I put into a diorama, I didn't build the building, that I picked up used from Dana's RR Supply, it had come from someone else's layout, I suspect the previous owner had passed away, as Dana does get a lot of his used inventory that way, living in Florida, its expected I guess.

I added the base using .40 in. sheet styrene, the pumps were parts of other gas stations out of the junk box, the pump islands were made using bits n pieces of styrene, the oil can displays are from JL Innovations, the cars are either all from Model Power or the MP knockoffs from Wal-Mart, the regular figures were out of the junk box, just some unpainted figures I painted up, the mechanics are from Woodland Scenics.

I repainted some parts of the gas station building itself, as well as the base and pump islands and the pumps, the oil can displays came pre-painted in the package, weathering on the base, ie. parking and driveway areas was done using eye makeup, and everything was finished off in a black wash.
