Hello All,

I have been given an old box of HO trains and these were inside. I am not sure about them and wanted to reach out and possibly find out what they are and if they have any value. Thanks for all the help in advance.

Tenshodo??

Aaron, my guess is that these are old Tenshodo models manufactured in Japan in the 1960's?  They were built slightly smaller than actual scale to reduce length and were all metal construction. The condition of the one model is obviously rather poor. My previous experience is that they can be collectibles and worth about $25 per car in good condition. Check out E-bay, there are some for sale there to compare. A whole train of passenger cars is actually pretty neat to watch.

OLD MODELS

These are older Athearn RDC's They had cast metal ends and steel bodies hence the rust. Look up the hoseeker website and you will see drawings for these units.

Wins the prize, haven't seen any of those units since high school days back in the late 50s.

Old RDC's

Are these both powered? If you want to sell them let me know. They look in pretty rough shape but might be parts units.
