I have taken the swinging gate out of the door way and replaced it with a twin bridge water crossing of the fox river and a new siding going to the cement plant

The water is the result of three pours of unreal water. There is no paint under this except for the clear sealer.I coloured the water with acrylic paint and poured . I wanted to achieve a stagnate type water with the algae in it  then a sudden rush of flood water coming down so I poured the green tinted water. After it had set I then poured  water with the green brown mix down the outside edges then the muddier mix down the middle as the second pour was staring to set. After about eight hours i teased the top of it to get the rough water. I finnished off by stippling the top of it with pure white glue.

This is the cement plant area

This is looking back towards the area above the workbench and sink beside the door . This gave me another 5ft .By building above and I roll in on chair I can still stand in there if I want at this stage

This is how it was. The top track was a fly over turn back now it goes round the room and I cut half a loop off the helix and bought it out the front

Test loco about to cross

First train and you can see the mangrove area I'm workin on

Thanks for your time

I like the helix it looks like it is pretty high quality construction. I am also happy to see someone else on this site running Chicago & North Western equipment.

The helix is 26 1/2"r and

The helix is 26 1/2"r and 4"between tracks  and is the second rebuild so that I got the levels more consistant. It was over 4% so it was a steep climb , now it averages 3% according to a percentage gauge.Today I'm putting facia back up.Then try and get a better pic in focus
