Great now how about telling me & others how you connected the switch to the switch machine. It looks like they are underground!.

Great work

Cross overs.

I saw an article a while back showing how to install and link both turnouts to one ground throw. Very convenient and speedy.

  Thanks for the video.

Ground throws

I did a similar install at Colfax on my RR. I used a 1/16" dia brass tubing laid under the track with a piece of piano wire sliding through to make the connection of the ground throw with the turnout on the other track. Works like a charm.

I will see if I can find it. It may have been longer than 10 years ago. My old memory is not what it used to be but I will try. It was either MR, RMC, or model railroading. The turnouts were hooked up into a circular bell crank and the ground throw was hooked to the circle also. When the lever was flipped the circle would turn and move the points. All this was done under the layout using flexible cables.

Check the P-87 stores. They have flex couplings, levers, and bell cranks. Also Hump Yard Purveyance has connectors for multiple turnouts from one lever.
