I am unable to download the current or past issues because Adobe Flash Player is not available for my device.  I tried downloading for an alternate OS (including Kindle) for the Jan. 2013 issue.  The download has been spinning for the last almost 10 minutes, over my high-speed network, with no success.

On a related issue, I had a number of previously saved back issues that I'd like to transfer to my Kindle.  But I get an error message that that format is not readable.

What to do on both issues?

When I try to download the current issue, I tap on download and nothing happens.  I've tried both the portrait and landscape versions.

Non-Flash Download

Scott,

You should probably use this link to download it:

It doesn't require flash and the Portrait edition looks better on sub-10" tablets. & phones.

After I wrote the 2 posts, I found the link you sent.  However, all the 2012 issues prior to Sept. return an unreadable error in Adobe Reader.

I WAS able to download from the current issue back to September.  Is there any way to read the previous issues on my Kindle?  I  really don't like to have to read on my computer, especially lying down.

Don't use Adobe Reader on Mobile devices

Believe it or not, one of the worst PDF readers on Mobile devices is Adobe's reader. It's quirky and underpowered. On Android devices, use ezPDF Reader Pro. It costs all of $4 and works light years better than Adobe. On iPads and iPhones, GoodReader is best ($5). You can use iBooks, but it's only an OK reader. GoodReader is better.

Joe, thanks for the tip.  I

Joe, thanks for the tip.  I just downloaded it, at half-price.  I note that the Jan. 2011 issue was not readable in  Adobe Reader.  Should I try again with EZPDF Reader?

Yes.

If you can't read it in ezPDF, the file is probably corrupted and should be re-downloaded.
