I got 2 UR91s that I got hooked up to the layout.  I started having this problem with them both hooked up in the line together, they would stop working on radio.  I would unhook one and the other would work, same with the other one also. Both ID's are the same. I took them both off the layout and hooked them straight into the DCS100 and it would work perfect, same for the other. I hook them back into the layout where they are on the same line around the layout and they quiet working if both are hooked up. I don't know what the problem is, someone know?

PS: I sent it to Digitrax and they said it's working.

Power source?

Are you using external power supplies to feed the UR91s? The symptoms you're reporting suggest that you might not be.

Each UR91 needs an external power supply, such as a PS12 or a PS14. You'll want to check that each one is putting out at least its rated voltage.

Another possibility would be a faulty segment of cable somewhere in the setup.

I'm using to supply power to

I'm using to supply power to UR91s are Digitrax transformers 12v 300ma.  If they where a faulty cable the throttles wouldn't work like they should when you plug them in.

bad cable

Your throttle would work and still be a bad cable.  On UR91 you can not cross the 3rd and 4th wires anywhere between the command station and the UR91, but with throttles you can.  That is why many people run UR91  on its' own cables.

I thought about what you said

I thought about what you said and went and stung a cable from one UR91 to the other. Then I hooked a cable into the DCS 100 and the the second UR91 would not work, no green light.  I unpluged the first one and the second one would come on, with a green light.  Now this just a cable running from the base station out to the first UR91 to the second UR91 and nothing else.
