This past weekend I went to Plant City, Florida to attend a model train show.  While I was there I went downtown to see the depot and interlocking.  Although this is 1 to 1 scale, they do have an HO scale model railroad layout in the depot.  Below are some of the pictures I took while I was there.

Picture of the Plant City, Florida Depot

One very cool and helpful item in the depot is an actual working train status board that shows the trains on the trackage!

Here's that panel that shows the trains.  When I saw that there was one coming out of Tampa and headed my way I decided to wait for it.  About 25 minutes later it passed right by the depot!

If you're ever in the area it's worth the time to visit the depot!

Neat pictures Rick,  thanks

Neat pictures Rick,  thanks for the tour.

The jury's still out, but this may constitute "Having too much fun".   But I'm sure you've earned it.

Next time you are there

Say something and we will take you up to the club layout (The depot layout is kept up by our club).  The club is less then 1 mile from where you were.
