I am using a wavy type of Lexan for a lakes freighter and Huelett scene. I am modeling the Erie docks in Cleveland Ohio. Any suggestions as to what color of paint I should use on the bottom side of the Lexan? If needed I will use a clear type of "water" treatment on the top surface. Any thoughts?

Good Luck

In my fifty years I have never seen this done successfully.  It ends up looking like a ship sitting on a shower door.

I Just Tripped Over A Possible Answer

Ted,

Take a look at what Dave Frary did for water at http://www.mrscenery.com/pdf/Nantucket.pdf   He provides some additional links in the document, but I really think his water looks great.
