I have newly purchased (used) HO B'man 44 ton diesels...one is the two motor version and the other is a newer (not DCC ready) single motor.  Both have cracked gears but run "ok".  NWSL p/n 2695-6 is available with wheel/axle replacements for the two motor...NWSL doesn't know if these parts fit the single motor...does anyone on the forum know...?

Bachmann corrected that gear issue

why not try one of these for $8.00.

They didn't fix them all....

I have a first-run doodlebug with cracked gears, and the only thing they show is a full power truck for the new run.  Anybody know where I can get replacements?

Bachman gearing

Hey there Mr. VW (I'm guessing by your handle you drive a VW)

I have a couple of B'man 40 tonner and 70 tonner engines and two are Spectrum EMC gas/electric (doodlebugs). The 40 and 70 tonners are double motor drives. I discovered that the doodlebugs had cracked gears. I think the procedure I posted in my cracked gear thread may be a fix for these. I need to take one apart and see if my method will also work for the B'man drives.
