Roseburg yard area up close - in desperate need of structures!

I'm taking a hiatus from working on MRH Theater videos for a couple weeks so I can work on the layout.
I want to focus on getting some structures in the main yard area in Roseburg, which is the layout centerpiece when you enter the room. As I relayed in my last blog post, my wife practically insisted we work on doing some structures together because my layout really needs them! How could I refuse an offer like that?
To frame this journal of the process I'm going through and to chronical the transition to the area as we add the structures, I'm first starting out with a close up "before" panoramic photo of the area. Notice the total lack of structures in the scene.

I'll be showing you the process I'm using to plan the structures for this area (including using things like Google Earth views of the prototype location), then I'll show you some of the sneaky tricks I plan to use in order to get some great looking structures done for this scene in record time. Should be fun ... make sure and tell me if you are finding this little how-to useful.

Sounds familiar to me.
I'm in a similar situation with my new yard at Westport. I think of big background buildings. But for now I'm busy with structures for my Diamond Valley.
