Wish someone would speak english! Embedded, standard, 123 mb etc. Where is the edition that we used to get three months ago before someone decided to change this? and did not wonder if it was a good idea. I still can't read it or download it or nothing.

I guess what do you want it's free.

What do you read it on?

What device do you read MRH on (or want to read MRH on)?

No Problem Here

I've downloaded both embedded and non-embedded (PC) plus the iPad version with no problems here and have turned pages and used the links easily.

The VT100 will need an ADICD Unit

Mr.Whittien,

You will need an Auxiliary Display Image Correction Device [ADICD] to be able to display MRH on a VT100. Best Buy usually has a few in stock,  You will need to make sure it is fully charged and setup for the internet. Place the VT100 in an inside dry place that allows for comfortable viewing. It is best that the room light does not cause glare on the screen. Carefully place the device in the middle of the VT100's screen and tape it with double sided tape. The device is also called an iPad, most any model will work.

Hope This helps,

John

I had to give up my Diablo 1620   http://www.chilton-computing.org.uk/acd/icf/terminals/p002.htmbecause it took 5 hours to do a 30 second YouTube video.

Edit: for some reason, I can't make the link live.

Darn new fangled inventions!

What's with these new fangled electrified lights? Kerosine lamps are good enough for me! And why these "infernal combustion" car contraptions? My ole' horse Mable gets me where I want to go! Change terifies me.......nothing should ever change!!! Just kidding, of course!

Simple Solution

I have 4 grandchildren ages 14, 12, 11, 9, any one of which I am able to enlist to solve any and all computer kerfuffles that I get into. Computers are the natural habitat of the young.

youth and computers

My son is now 22 and can solve any computer issue I might have. In addition I get his "out of date" gaming computers which are plenty good. I arrived home from work one day when he was 2 years old and he had changed my after dark(remember that?) to something he liked. I never showed him how.

I've said it before and I'll

I've said it before and I'll say it again- Star Trek is almost upon us.  Can't wait to see MRH on the holo-deck!!

Seriously though, I didn't get a cell phone until about 3 years ago, and all the smart phone/apps/whatever seem like trying to learn a foreign language.  Seems if you over-sleep on a Saturday what you thought you knew to be 'new' is old-news on Monday.  And I considered myself somewhat tech-savy in 2000!!  Guess I just have a life outside of the internet and Tweeting (honestly, who really cares what anyone else does every minute of the day?  Who has the time to sit and wait with baited-breath to read what that celebrity/person posts??  Sheesh!).

Technology is upon is, and it is good.  But most times I just "turn it off".  Smell the fresh air, play some guitar, enjoy the wildlife sounds while sitting on the deck, and have a few beers.  That and the sound of a train or two...

I just don't know

I can't complain over something that's free! I just cant' download the old way it used to be.

All this jargon It says I can download the old version but when I do the thing comes out skinny and then you have to move your mouse all the time to read it.

I just don't know

I sure wish you let well enough a lone and let them other people battle over it and try to find out witch one to use. I just can't figure out how any one would want to read this on a cell phone, tablet, any thing smaller than a computer

Reading books on a electronic device.

Remember the movie Fahrenheit 454

It's not for everyone, we know, but when we added our more mobile friendly version in Jan, when we went to Amherst we got a steady stream of people including folks under 40 who thanked us for doing Gen2. We also got a fair number of retired guys telling us they loved the portrait format because they could finally read it without their glasses.

Plus, our rate of growth went up 70% with the release of Gen2. There's nothing to indicate to us this move was a mistake other than a handful of complaints from folks who don't like change.

Just download the Landscape edition and life should be good.

Well, it's not for everyone

Let me help you out here!!

If you download a version and you either, don't like it, or can't read (see) it, or the layout is different than you like DELETE IT and try another version.

Guess what, it's still free!!

Just a thought.

PS, love to see that new layout you have raved about.

"HO" TRAINS ARE MY LIFE...AND "N" AND "AMERICAN FLYER" AND "LIONEL" AND EBAY.

WITHOUT CLOSETS, MODEL MANUFACTURERS WOULD NEVER BE PROFITABLE.
