Because I need to use Code 125 Rail for certain pieces of equipment, the only option to have "girder rail" for O Scale is to use Code 125 Rail and adding code 100 rail perpendicular to the code 125 Rail.  This leaves for some interesting work to building traction line turnouts. I want to have only the single rail point (versus the traditional two rail points).

Here is what I need some feedback on.  Do you think it is worth investing in tools designed for making normal turnouts?  Specifically, the Fast Tracks Point Form and StockAid's.  The Assembly Jig will do little good because to assemble to whole thing, the rail will be too wide for the traditional Jig, and ordering a custom one would be cost prohibitive.  My thinking so shaping the Code 125 Rail then adding the Code 100 rail and using the Code 125 Rail as a guide, filing the additional pieces to proper shape.  Or is this a foolish idea?  I never cared for handlaying turnouts, I am not that mechanically gifted, however, with the creation of th Fast Track Tools, it has made such tasks possible for be to do.  So i'm trying to adapt the tools that exist so that I am able to build the necessary turnouts for the the layout I am involved with construction.  I only need four of them (2 Left Hand 2 Right Hand).

Any ideas on whether these tools can be adapted to do this or not would be appreciated.  Thanks.
