Cool Video

Thanks for the video. It was cool watching the scenery change. When our son comes home for visits he rides the City of New Orleans from Chicago to Carbondale, IL where I pick him up.

SAD
My family is from there and it's sad to see where the IC used to run a double track main line in the heyday of rail now gone. Thanks for a great video and some good memories. Would love (as you probably would have) to have had the camera in the cab looking forward.

Old IC main into NO still visible
As the train goes through s curve going into Jefferson Parish with Airline Hwy on Left. A short time about half mile after that when train strightens out you look stright back under over pass and you see the old main line of the IC RR going into N O. Very visible.
