I am a licenced electrician, (retd). I had my own electrical contracting business for 26 years.

I will gladly answer any electrical questions, if I can.

If I can't answer, I will make sure that I find someone who can.

Thank you for....

.....offer. Right now I am working on a small switching layout. I am using Peco turnouts that control power. So my electrical requirements and knowledge are small at this time. I do plan to build a larger layout in the next year or so and hope to used DCC. When that time arrives I will be seeking your advice.

Yahoo Blogs

Your offer may come into play more on the help blogs at Yahoo. JMRI, NCE, Digitrax, and others. Please remember that issues facing model Railroaders are far different than 120 volts AC. Biggest difference is we for the most part are dealing with under 24 volts and this does not require code requirements. The second factor is most are dealing with DCC which brings unique problems. Also look in discussion groups hear at MRH their is one area for electrical discussion.
