Hi Guys,

My first post.  It seems that Martin Wynne's Templot is now for free.  When I tried to download I got a file called "attachments.php"  about 5Mbytes that wouldn't open.  What gives?

It's in the click...

It looks like what you did was right click and save.  Instead, left click and wait for the download to begin.  At least that is what I did to get the 5MB templot_Setup.exe file.

Thanks Kevin,  I now have

Thanks Kevin,  I now have Templot on my computer.  Wow it's some piece of software,  looks like a steep learning gradient.  Now if I can learn to use it and if I can find a variety of archbar trucks,  Ajax trucks etc in S Scale I might one day have a turn of century (19th / 20th) P64 railroad that is totally scratchbuilt,  S Scale being what it is.

Glad you got it!

Yes, looks like a serious program.  I did note there were lots of tutorials available from the web site.

Have fun with it!

And yes, a steep learning curve, but when it starts to fall into place, it can really do some neat stuff.
