Diluting Isopropyl Alcohol General discussion

I am considering weathering some freight cars and in my "info gathering" there are recommendations about not using 100% solution of Isopropyl Alcohol as it strips paint!

I can only source 99.9% Isopropyl Alcohol locally.

So my question is can I dilute with distilled water by volume to make 70% & 90%?

Yes

70% IPA and 30% water.  but if you want more Wiki is your friend
