Here are some pictures of the new Ashland, WI industrial area I added to the layout awhile back. It has a long way to go, many new structures and scenery have to be added. I have almost finished the C. Reise Coal Co. and the Holland Furnace Company is setting where it will ultimately go. The coal company is again mounted on a piece of .060 styrene so as to keep everything together. The rest of the industries have cardboard footprints to hold their locations. By doing this my my operators have a sense of where they are going & were to spot cars on OPS nights. All of the industries are named after real ones located in Ashland during the 40's/50's era that I model.

The KISS principle applied

This is great example of how simple and aisle bridge can be. I will bet that it down 95% of the time. Layout looks great do you have a video? Please post more pictures if not.

Very Cool

I like the drop bridge, and great looking track arrangement. Looks like you added a lot of extra operating interest.

Ashland Industrial Area

To Art & all

First thanks to all for the nice comments.

Art - I don't have any videos yet, but did buy a new digital camcorder last night. But I know there will be a learning curve to master before I can post videos.

I will continue to post photos of the layout & structures.
