hello every one..i have been posting quit a few videos about my layout, but never posted the track plan. last week, when my friend from Canada was here, we installed JMRI panel pro. so i played around with it for a while & came up with this drawing. it is about 99% accurate. my layout is a point to point that starts in phoenix az & ends in ash fork az. it is about 195 miles of trackage.the table height at Mobest yard is 40" & 60" at a Ash Fork.i am very limited to space so i was forced to do lots of compression
i have also established 2 routes using the JMRI program: the phoenix local & the glendale local. the phoenix local services the industries in red & the glendale local services the industries in ( dark gray/ black). i eventually will create 2 straight runs from phoenix to ash fork (tank train & IM train). i still have a few bugs to work out in the switch list. for instance, why would sun plumbing send its load to big d's flooring ???? i can & will designate specific loads for each industry. unfortunately JMRI does not support MRC so i will be upgrading my system to a digitrax system
