Nice photos, but would be

Nice photos,

but would be even nicer if you could manage to reduce the fuzziness.

What scale are you modeling ?

How have you done the canopy of the mountain (2nd photo) ?

grain of pics

Think I had the ASA set for 1000. Was doing some Band pics before and forgot about it . The canopy is just Woodland Scenics foliage clumps glued to the foam. Real easy, but a bit time consuming . Its N scale, I have to share the room with a Quilter, so some of the stuff on the walls won't be moving...LOL.....Mike

Nice real estate - It has a strong sense of proportionality.

As for the backdrop, well...I see nothing wrong with a quilted sky blanketing a foamer's paradise...

Be nice to see some more pics

The quilter and you are both doing well, be nice to see some more shots of the layout, trees are great, and a real great example of n scale showing its worth. If the quilter did a big scenery quilt it may blend in well.

There are many similarities between the two crafts.

Mike regards to you both...Kenn

Another Railroader / Quilter Combo

Hi Mike, My wife is also a quilter so we have many of the same battles-- er, conversations...At the moment she has her own sewing room in our third bedroom and her longarm along one end of our bedroom. However, she has reserved room in the train room for the day if/when she'll move her stuff down there. Even so, "negotiations with mgmt" over trackage rights is occasionally lively! John
