Okay, let me put this up front - way too many of us would shop off the "Plus" size racks if they listed mens clothing that way.

This layout would be inaccessible for us:

(trap door entry that appears to be about 18"x18" and a 4ft ceiling)

Not your average size basement either!

Layout in a crawlspace

Well  Folks            I guess I am not the only one to have a layout in a crawl space. I have a 20x12  U shaped

layout for the past 1o years or so I have been working on my layout. I have never posted

any pics on this site about the layout maybe i should. hopfully in the next few weeks i will

once i figure out how to do it.The ceiling height in my space is 4 feet high with full access

to the full basement part of the the house. That means i dont have to crawl thru a small

opening to get to the layout. The space is heated, well lit and is carpeted. The layout has

                             3 small stub yards, 3 stall roundhouse, 2 towns , 3 passenger stations,a harbor with a car

float, a city with tall bldgs, an elevated trolly line, small coal mine, 2 engine shops and a

small truck on flat car loading area with crane. Like I said when I figure out how to post

pics You will get a better view of things.                  ron netti

Three things:

1). I love the layout and the imaginative use of space. 2). Bathroom? 3). Don't make the wife angry or she could slide the stove over the hatch while you're down there and claim that you went on vacation!

Proof...

That if you really want a layout you can figure something out. Where there's a will there's away.  And I was complaining the other day about having to climb under my "normal" height bench work to get to my access holes!

We Yanks have our share of

We Yanks have our share of attic layouts, so I guess? I've never, (until now) seen a layout in a crawl space. My long love affair with good food and drink, prevents me from visiting or even considering a layout such as this one. Guess all I can ad is "to each his own".

Wow!

Amazing.  He's done an incredible job in what most people (myself included) would have never even attempted.
