What does MDT stand for in Bachmann MDT Plymouth switcher? Same question for WDT?

Plymouth Switchers

According to the 1973 Diesel Spotters Guide the M stood four 4 wheels and the W stood for six wheels. Couldn't find anything on the MT designation.
