I had the oppurtunity to visit Miniatür Wunderland in 2004 and it was a great experience since I was there the alps and scandinavia has been added. I hope to visit it again in the not so distant furture. Recommended is also Loxx in Berlin.

It figures...

When I posted on my blog about this place on March 25th nobody even gave it the time of day!  Not so much as a comment in passing...

It seems like the video that was embedded has disappeared somehow from that blog...?

Hi! Write me if you´re around

Hi!

Write me if you´re around ´cause I live in Hamburg. We could drink a coffee and talk trains, if you´re interessted.

But I have to say it´s a Show-layout and not one with realistic settings, so if you´re looking for that, I recommend this layout in Gelsenkirchen:

http://www.modellbahnwelt-oberhausen.de

It´s far smaller, but it is featuring scenes from the Ruhr-Valley between 1965-77. By the way, it´s partly WIP.

:-)

Greets from germany
