Hello Everyone.

I have been sitting in the back for awhile now reading and enjoying all the great post's on her that I thought I would finally post something. After reading Mike Lozensky's https://forum.mrhmag.com/post/alldoor-freight-car-build-update-more-12186251 on his ladders, I thought I would give it a try on a victim I had sitting on the bench. This is my first attempt at this and I think the outcome has turned out pretty good. You guys be the judge and let me know. The car started out as a walthers CP Rail waffle side car. I cut off all the end detail, sanded it all smooth and started from there. I also had to cut off some of the waffle sides from the side of the car as the CNW prototype car http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/cnw/cnw161236akg.jpg doesn't have them. Still lots more to do but I thought I would share with you as I'm starting to get back at modeling after to long of a break from any thing train related. Hope  you enjoy the photo and I have a few more that I will add later.

Thanks Willy

Looks great

Good effort. Glad you are back at it again. That is a great looking end of a freight car. The removal of cast on details is a big deal and it looks like you had great success. Mow show us the sides with the waffles removed. Thomas G.

End Ladders Update

I have finally gotten some time to work on some model's so I thought I would post what I have been up to. Here are some more picture's of the CNW car that I have been doing. I still have to add the side rung's to the car once I figure out how to bend them. Plus I still need to finish painting and then Decals.ls%20005.jpg 20004(1).jpg
